When I was a child, I was so happy for my birthday. Birthday is a day that is celebrated for the birth of people. People always cut cake and eat it. Before eating cake, they would blow out the candles. Then they will sing a song like happy birthday to you so that they could cheer the birthday person up. The family will get together and buy some presents to give the birthday people. It's a tradition in all kinds of culture.

However ,there is a different habit between European and Chinese. Chinese always say happy birthday before the birthday or in the birthday. European often say the words after birthday or in the birthday.

The  different habits show the different cognition in human's mind.

People will build special feeling and cognition when they have unique experience in their life.

The custom will change along with culture.

If you celebrated the birthday for people from other country, you should notice the difference.

There are three reason why people want to celebrate the birthday.

One is that they want to thank the growing up of children.

Another is that they want the elder to live longer.

The other is that they consider the birth as a holy event.

No matter what reason it is, you should be excited with the birthday.

Remembering to send the birthday card to the birthday person as feedback when you get the card from other people in your birthday.
